Word of caution: MAKE SURE YOU DO A THROUGH "PDI"!

Stay over night on their lot for at least 1 night, two would be better before you sign on the dotted line! Make a check list of short comings and have them fixed before you sign. If you don't do that all I can say is good luck!

Be armed with a power screwdriver, electric tester, thermal heat detector, nice bright LED light. Case of adult beverage (or bottle of wine).

Make sure you use everything!!!! And check the cabinets and doors and drawers and trim for cracks and scratches.

You be warned!!!

Howdy All,

We picked up the new toy hauler a few days ago, spend most of the day in the lot getting things taken care of that needed some attention, hitched up and towed it home when I was satisfied all was in order. Thanks for the welcomes and the advise, now we have to plan a trip before the weather sets in here in the Great Nor-Wet.

Another new guy on the road

Hi Folks! Well we're on the road in Montana from Arizona in our new 2014 Voltage 3950. Great trip so far. We have four wheeled over 120 miles in the Rockies in our Can Am commander. The two day shake down at the dealer in Flagstaff really paid off. Numerous dealer prep items that needed to be addressed. Headed to Idaho next to see grand kids and do a little fly fishing around Henry's Fork. Does anyone have any tricks up their sleeve regarding getting the coach level and not tweaking the doors in the interior so they don't open or close? It seems that the auto leveling stresses the framework somehow and the doors to the garage, bathroom, and pantry don't want to stay shut.

Hopefully the unit was level before they set the doors but it sounds like it wasn't.

Have you taken a level reading in several places to actually see if the rig is level? Maybe the sensors on the auto leveling are off and the rig isn't really level.

My garage passage door won't stay closed when I'm not level but no problem with it after the rig is level according to the auto mechanisim.
