Have put a down on a V3605 that I hope to take delivery of this weekend. Have been RVing for 25+ years. Started with a used tent trailer & just moved up from there. Had three different TT & five different 5th wheels. Still have a 2003 Teton 5th wheel that I'll put up for sale once we get the Dutchman. ;)

Greetings Desertrat and welcome to the forum. Enjoy that new home away from home. :)

Service is booked until 4/5/14 so guess I have to wait until then. :(

As I have to wait for two more weeks to pick-up my new V3605 I've started my list of needed items. Looks like I need to make a trip to Camping World come Saturday. ;)

Every time I see another great modification someone has done on this site I keep adding it to my to do list. Let see need 5th wheel lube plate, stick on bubble levels,
Pull pins for front landing gear, Slid out tray to mount battery in, oh yea another battery. List just keeps getting longer & more $$. Hope the wife agrees.

That reminds me of great quote from one of my friends:

"My greatest fear is that one day my wife will really get mad at me, and sell my motorcycle and all of it's gear what what I TOLD her it cost."

:-sad-

Wife said the Teton would be our last RV. Well it was her idea of looking at a toy hauler. Of course it was my idea to buy it!

We are also picking up from The Trailer Hitch. The deal is almost final. Have been looking at Richardson's RV for the past 2 years.
The prices are better at Trailer Hitch.
Richardsons keeps trying to put is in what they have on the lot, not what we really want.
Trailer hitch so far has been great to work with.
They have already found us a pretty good interest rate, but are trying to get it even better.
Has anyone had any problems dealing with them?

Will post after the deal is final.

Don't get caught up in Camping World's supply of goodies for your 3605. You can get almost everything you need from so many other places and usually cheaper. Don't fall for the sale items either. They had a newer water pump with more pressure ON SALE for over 100 bucks, I found the same thing for 70 bucks from another supplier. They have the market on RV goodies but they aren't the only game in town.

Unless you just like to walk in and walk out with your goodies a few days of waiting for shipping will pay off financially.

We have bought a lot of our rv stuff off of amazon. I am a prime member, so there are no shipping cost, and most everything arrives in 2 days. I think prime membership is $99. Per year. We'll worth the cost

I looked online at the one you are hoping to get............Nice. ;)
They were able to beat the rate I had from Good Sam of 4.19% down to 3.75%.:D

Have a for sure walk around this coming Saturday at 10:00. Is it Saturday yet

Picked up my new V3605 this past Saturday. Had a two hour PDI & went over just about everything I could think of. Nothing major & then we stayed over night at Pacific Dunes RV just of Pismo Beach. Found that the shower leaked under the sliding door frame. Will get some silicone to fix that. Door between garage & living area came open while traveling home so will adjust that. I have a list of all the tweeks we need to do to make it fit to our needs. Can't wait to take it out for a longer shake down. :D

First thing I have to do is raise the 5th wheel pin so it tows more level. Towed fine the 320 miles home but is hi in the front. Weight it before I got home & comes in right at 14k with both propane tanks full, 30-40 gal of water & ten to 15 gallons of gas in the rear tank. 3k hitch weight & 11k on rear axles. Right where I was thinking as I only have a SRW truck. 320 miles & took just over 32 gal to refill so I'm :D
