My name is Joe and I'm from Thunder Bay, Ontario. After 20 years of camping at the same lake, I decided to buy a travel trailer and move around a bit. Picked up a 2002 Dutchmen Lite 24QB. Very impressed with it. And it's in great shape.

Hey Thunder Bay, welcome to the Forum. DW and I are planning a trip into your part of the country. DW's birthday is in February and wants to tour one of the Amethyst Mines. I keep telling her that she only needs to look in her jewellery box to see an Amethyst mine.

Tons of Amethyst around here. Taking the trailer to a provincial park called Rainbow Falls. Just east of here about 1.75 hrs of driving. Nice lake and good fishing. If you do head up this way, you have to stop at a place called Blue Lake. The water is crystal clear and awesome sand beaches. It's a spring fed lake so it's a little cooler but you can see the bottom.
