Hello everyone! We (wife Tina and I) just purchased a used Kodiak 255BHSL. It was not planned, as we had our sights for the last month set on a 2016 Forest River Wildwood 261BHXL. The Kodiak was a trade-in at our local RV dealer and we just happened to be there looking at some possible other choices. When we went to the back, there it was, just arrived so we looked it over, it was exactly what we wanted. Twice the room as the Wildwood for the same price. Some minor cosmetic damage inside, some of the dinette trim holding the cushions in place has come loose. I couldn't find any signs of water damage, the outside is in perfect condition. Sold "as is" so we hope the major appliances work. If not, I'm pretty handy with fixing anything. Anyways, just wanted to say Hi to everyone. Happy RVing!

Welcome to the forum.

Jim Beam Rye, really. I guess I'll have to check the next time I go across the border, never seen it in the liqour stores in my area.

I was trying to pick a screen name for AOL 2.5 (1996) and my first 20 tries were taken, so there, sitting on my table from the party last night was that bottle, so I typed it in and thats that! Good stuff in moderation.

I'm not a fan of our rye whisky, but I do like bourbon. I came across a few interest craft distilleries in Kentucky that were making some interesting mashes. Them Alaska folks have an interesting take on some of their ryes too, but I draw the line at Smoked Salmon Vodka.
