Get to pick up my new v3605 in 2 days

Slow and easy! Make notes and don't take the trailer until all is well!!!!

X2

Make sure that they have everything to you satisfaction. If there are any defects and you decide to take the trailer off the dealer lot, make sure you get it in writing that the problems will be repaired and the time line.

It's really inyour best interests to make them fix any deficiencies before you take it off the lot though. Once you take it off the lot, the dealer doesn't have to jockey it around to make room for new stock etc. they will be motivated to get it fixed and delivered.

Only problem I found with mine was after the fact. Once we opened the vacuum attachments box we found the main wand missing. It was only $10.00 to buy a new one so did that as it was faster than getting it under warranty from the dealer.

If you got the level up system make sure they show you how that works and that it has been calibrated also look at the top of hydraulic cylinders and check for leaks or bad hoses.
If you have the shower door with sliding doors make sure the center slide guide down on the floor frame is solidly attached or the doors will let go and shatter in transport, (happened to us).

On my 3605, I struggled with the auto level until I finally read a post here explaining the left/right connections were backwards. Once I switched the two, works like a champ now. Might mention that, and have them make sure yours is correct. I've only had a couple of issues, none that have required service above my level of "fixit". If your handy, there is a wealth of knowledge, tips, and mods on here that will help you fix almost anything and never have to take it back to the dealer.

Hopefully it's in perfect condition so we can get it home. They had to add a second ac unit for me for free due to advertising it having two.

That did not work for me - our Rubicon was advertised with hot and cold water to the outdoor "sport" water outlet (the one with the coiled water line) - we only have cold water - big disappointment!

That's a bummer. They didn't really want to tried to say 1 would be good but I said I wanted it thrown in.

If it has a hot & cold handle than you should have hot water. If not something is plumbed wrong. ;)

Go through every piece of the unit bit by bit. Cycle all electronics, furnace, water heater, slides etc..... multiple times. I wish I would have been more in depth on mine. (Excitement got the best of me.) Now I have multiple issues that are needing addressed. Nothing to significant but still a headache none the less. Good luck and enjoy your new toy :)

Bryblaze--Listen to what everyone here is saying. Make sure the brakes are wired correctly--the brakes on the rear axle of our trailer was not connected. Test the electronics (TVs, DVDplayers, speakers) Take in a DVD to play--Our speakers were wired wrong for 5.1 sound. Actually turn on the ac and heater. Our walkthrough just showed us where it was, but not how to use it. Good Luck and Happy Camping!
