Hey, looking for some DIY advice. Norcold fridge doesn’t cool down ever since below freezing weather cycle arrived. The green light is on and steady. Turning off and on a few times didn’t work. Unplugged the AC at the exterior access panel. Left off for several hours hoping the system would reset. The orange propane light came on steady as it should. Still not cooling. Any advice on getting it to work would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. R

Had ours below freezing many times, should have no effect.
Feel the boiler whether on electric or gas, should be hot if actively cooling.
Look around base of fridge below coil system for yellow residue, or ammonia smell, if present the system is compromised.

Mine every once in a while doesn't cool down. I found out that if I turned it off for two or three days the ammonia settles then turn it back on. seems to work.

There was a period of time where mine would cool down overnight then heat up during the day. We determined it was a couple of things. The first was it was not installed per the manufacturers specifications (try getting Dutchmen to admit to that), as there was too much air space above the fridge in the slide out that trapped heat all day. I had foam insulation installed above the fridge and that likely helped but the main culprit in my case was the aluminum tape they use to wrap and seal vents was loose and was blocking one of the fans from rotating so the fans were not able to exhaust the heat. Removing that tape was easy and solved the problem.

The other issue is that these units exhaust better up and out but because they are in a slide out they have to vent out the side instead of straight where the heat wants to go--at least that is what my RV tech told me.

However, none of these issues were intermittent so OP's issue is likely unrelated.
