:confused:Last weekend me and the family took a quick trip outing just to kind of get a feel for the rv and see what it needs. Overall it was a good weekend, we left Saturday morning and only went about an hour away. We got to the campground I disconnected the truck and went to level the rv and it would never level. I then figured out that the RF leveling jack had stopped working. After manually leveling the rv we stayed the night packed up Sunday morning and headed home. Once we got home I looked at the jack and realized the dowel pin on the worm gear had broke. Quick and easy fix and it saved me $125 from trying to use the warranty and the headache of dealing with it. Also the LR quick pin release on the jack got bent (my fault not pushed in all the way). Other than these items what do you recommend to take with you on a trip? I have found the Lippert landing leg worm gear repair kit on Amazon for $40, I figured I would keep a couple of these in the rv and also the quick release pins.

Williep13, Glad you didn't have any big issues, After RVing since 2000, I have found, you will keep adding things, I just added the Direct TV Antenna and a Fire Pit..LOL I would get a good Tool Box, Good Bottle Jack, there is soooo much that I have added to my Voltage and my Lance Truck Camper. Good Luck, I know you will find things to add, but watch the weight..

Digital volt meter, 12 volt test light and absolutely a handful of PEX fittings and connecters and the tool to crimp them.

Electrical wire & connectors, duct tape, breaker bar & socket for lug nuts. Just to name a few more. ;)

And a tool kit, with wrenches sockets etc. Also "channel lock" Pliers. and Good Sam Roadside Insurance. I have used that for towing of any of my cars etc.
