Hi,
Glad I found this. I have been a camper my entire life, and finally with 3 children, we had enough of the tents after 26 years of camping. actually 35 years.
Purchased our first camper this year, the 2013 Aspen Trail Travel Trailer. Starting to get used to it, and loving the fact when it is 90+ with humidity instead of suffering and swimming at 2:00 am to cool down, poof, on comes the AC!
We live in Minnesota, so we are a little spoiled in the camping choices.
We refuse to put a TV in it, because board games and cards are what we grew up with and we want out children to enjoy camping not T.V. We also have no video games and only a phone for emergency use. ( I am such a mean dad! ) Glad to be here, starting to learn some things about the camper, some likes, some dislikes.
Thanks for making this board.
The kids have called the trailer "The Flying Dutchman" because of Sponge Bob. We are getting a large sticker for the back for them.
