Here is a tip for the lubing the cables for the dump valves on our rv's, I took a piece of gas line hose with a hose clamp on the handle end to create a good seal, drilled a small hole in the hose to insert cable lube nozzle, slide hose over handle stem clamp down handle side of hose, insert lube nozzle into hose and then push hose firmly toward rv to create a good seal then start the lube process, inserted a picture what I have and now the cable works smoothly, note second clamp pictured toward rv not needed as shown, hope this will help folks out without having to replace expensive and time consuming repairs to there dump valves...

I'm really intrigued by this. So you are essentially lubricating the cable inside the protective sleeve that runs the entire way to the valve itself?

Did you notice a big improvement? Mine are increasingly hard to work and the back gray doesn't seal well so I have to have an extra valve at the connection.

My front gray valve was not to bad but lubed it up anyway but my black tank valve was very hard to push in or pull out, after lubing it, I went to go push it in and dang near face planted the door it went in so easy, my back gray tank valve got better but I think it must have a small kink or sharp bend in the cable but yes it also works better, good luck and let me know how it works for you
