I just finished upgrading the suspension on my Astoria 3173RLP. It took me about 7 hours across two days to get the task completed. While my wife was visiting her daughter and grandson I scheduled the task. That way no questions as to what the heck are you doing? I ordered the kit off of Amazon after doing a lot of research. This is a direct replacement for the original OEM suspension. So, no trying to figure out what combination of after market equalizer and shackles will work. It also came with all the replacement bronze bushings and grease able bolts. Plus Dexter has a 5 year warranty on the kit, which is longer that everyone else. When we head out West for 3 weeks and about 5,000 miles we will see if it really makes a difference. You need an impact wrench, deep well impact sockets, heavy duty jack stands, torque wrench, grease gun, bottle and floor jacks, plus lots of blocks. All in all I think it will be worth the effort.
