CTU-249RB. Slide info

2013 Coleman. Still have not been able to find out slide manufacturer or where in heck I can manually operate slide?

I'm not in any trouble, yet.... But inquiring mind would like to know.
Slide is floor mount. Two tracks on underside. No wires, side tracks, etc..
It's a heavy slider... Kitchen, storage and couch.

P.S. manual is useless... Shows different types of slides, non if which are mine!!

You should have gotten an apparatus that looks like a handle to a small car jack. Usual place to store it is under the bed. That is one option. Since you have rack style go to lippert university and check videos on how to manually retract an electric slide.

No.
But after reading some of the different styles of room slides, I have a better idea of what to look for. My slide is above floor... So somewhere there has to be an access point. I've seen nothing underneath of course. One side of slide is tight to wall... No way to look in there. Other side is very close to bedroom wall and difficult to see.
Think when I next get a chance, I'll take the sofa off somehow and look under there. Under the kitchen sink and stove there isn't anything.
It's been interesting.... But thankfully the slide has been working fine!

Sorry it had taken so long to get to trailer.
I managed to get a picture of one of the slide tracks under the slide. There are two tracks.
Maybe someone can recognize the type of track.

That’s a new one on me. Doesn’t look like it would hold much weight.

I’ve done a little research, it looks like a version of the lippert through frame rack and pinion slide system. Made for wardrobes and light weight slide outs.

Understand. But this slide is long and holds the kitchen, (stove/oven/microwave/sinks), cabinets above, and Jack knife sofa! Quite a bit of weight.

They came out with a mechanism called a “Hidden Slide” at one point. Not sure if one motor controlled both slides or if it were two motors. Yours is interesting, does it nave anything supporting the weight of the slide? Does it go out very far?

When you move the slide in and out, where do you hear the motors? Have you looked behind those panels under the stove or those two drawers?

Nothing to support it. It goes out less than 24 inches or so. In the picture above the stove top you can see a small black blob. That's the thermostat (wrong place to put it, lol).... The slide will come in and just cover that thermostat. So you can use the picture as a guide to the amount of movement. I've never measured it.

As far as support, nothing. When it starts to go out, it sort of lifts and tilts as it moves. Then it straightens out and locked in place. Rock solid when out. Wife and I can sit on sofa and no movement... So I must assume the floor/side trailer frame handles part or most of the weight. And the top of the slide keeps it tight to frame above....

It has worked perfectly so far and the unit is 10 years old( knock on wood)!

I do think I know where the access point is. There is one small panel under sink area with 4 screws. Next time I'm down to trailer, I'll look under there. It's been a bit warm here in Arizona to do any exploring inside the trailer.

It ain’t much cooler here in Florida except for the fact that the mosquitoes love the residual pools of water from our latest hurricane. Oh yeah, did I mention that the lovebugs are star ting to come out? :-ang

Under the stove is the wiring, and the plumbing lines that move with the slide.
Under the sink is nothing but cabinets. In between is the panel where there is access to the underneath but the 1st time I looked, didn't see anything like a motor or gearing.
I haven't been able to pin point motor by sound either. But that didn't surprise me as I'm hard of hearing and hearing aids don't help much with directionality.

I'll figure it out once it's cooled down a bit. I'll let you know. This has been an interesting trailer.... It's been pretty dependable. But things are built really weird in some areas....
