I'm looking into buying a 2015 Colemen CTE211E expandable. Does anyone here have one or know anything about them? Thanks I advance for any information.

My first camper was a hybrid, although not the model you're looking at. I enjoyed it, but there is a lot of extra maintenance with a hybrid. I have never regretted going to a hard sided camper.

You have to really keep up with the caulking and seals around the flip down door, as most used hybrids I looked at, had leaks. You also have to make sure they're 100% dry when packed up or mold will be a problem. That means unfolding it when you get home if it rained the night before you leave. Or even just high humidity, we live in Tennessee and it would get damp just from the moist air.

Since you're basically sleeping in a "tent", the outside noise is a lot higher than with a regular camper, may or may not be a problem. I was shocked the first night we spent in our new camper, it was so quiet. You may have to water proof the seams every once in a while, it depends on the way it was manufactured.

If you have a little extra time to take proper care of it, there should be no problem, if you don't , I wouldn't recommend one.
