Hey all, just came back from our 2nd weekend of camping in the new TT and boy is my back sore. Not from setting up camp or breaking down camp, but from a poorly installed dinette bed. It seems the tabletop does not fit snug between the two seats when converting into a bed - there's at least a 1" gap (for reference - the bunkroom dinette has a 1/8" gap when the bed is set up.
Of course I didn't realize the actual size of the gap before I lay down to go to sleep and then boom - I go crashing through onto the floor. So now I've got a busted table top, a marked up wall and a sore back. :-ang My question is this: Who do I go to in order to make this right? I have an extended warranty but it feels like this was a manufacturing issue. Should I contact the selling dealer's service department?
After only 3 weeks of ownership, I'm pretty disappointed that something broke so soon but grateful that none of my guests were injured.
