Bathroom sink upgrade..

The bathroom in our Aspen Trail is on the small side to say the least..... but of course we don't spend a lot of time in there.
That being said, the OE sink was only good for catching about half the water you might splash on your face... so we opted to go bigger. A vessel sink was the only option given the vanity size.
Here's the original...

The 110 receptacle needed to be moved. Lucky for me the wire feed is routed from above so plenty of spare wire.
Here's the rough fit for the countertop. We used a laminate of teak that I picked up @ low's

Added some stick-on backsplash and we are now good to go!

In addition to the sink upgrade.... the bathroom had no linen storage. There was some 'dead' space just inside the door... so we added some built ins...

Weird angles due to the wall layout... but we were able to add enough space to stash those towels and such.

I like the linen closet you built. Good idea. I wish we had more space like this in my Voltage.

Thanks...
At first I was looking at the space above the toilet... and adding shelves.
But I'm very hesitant to use just the wall studs for support... so I went the other way.

Thanks BruceG..... and welcome....
Will be "breakin it in" this weekend in the great "Promised Land".
Gotta get a step stool for the grandLadies though.... I can see that now ;)

Really nice upgrade! We also have about 8 - 9" of dead space between the curved shower and the vanity. Maybe some space to better utilize. Great ideas.

Thanks....
Yes... it becomes a bit of "what can I put there"??.
As it turns out.... a bit of a weeping leak developed.... I put some paper towels under the counter to get an idea of how bad.
I removed the faucet.... re- installed the hoses using some tape on the threads.... and pet jelly on the o rings..... still the same weep. Seems to be internal to the faucet..:(
Living with it till the replacement shows up next week.

On a side note.... I did not realize how much taller you need to be using a vessel sink...!?
My wife.... at 5'2"..... is going to need some help underfoot too;)

Yous looks good, I would like to replace the existing sink with a metal one. Does anyone know of one that would fit. Trailer is not here and wonder what the measurements would be. Or what metal sink will fit and drain hookup??

Thanks...
Not sure about finding a "drop-in" that will fit existing opening. Might have to 'go bigger' and cut to fit?
Or, use a 'store-bought' section of counter top with the correct size cut into it..

That sink looks great. We had the same problem in our Jayco Precept. We must think alike.
