Hi folks, just purchased a 2015 Kodiak 279RBSL and really enjoying it, Glad to be on-board with you'all!

always check the tires on your rv. Tire tread is no indication. They should not be over inflated or under inflated. When blowouts happen, that is usually the problem and once one blows out the others will follow. Usually change those tires every 4 years regardless of how the tread looks. Alot of damage is done to the sides of the trailer when tires blow out. Not to mention the danger. Good luck and happy trails as they use to say.

Welcome. I believe you may have avoided the typical Dutchman brand welcome to ownership problems by purchasing a slightly used one.

If the previous owner rarely used your Dutchman/Kodiak I recommend packing all your tools and parking it somewhere with full hook ups near an RV parts store. This way if it welcomes with typical Dutchman problems you can work them out BEFORE you take a trip.
