I have been RV'ing since 2005, I fell in love with having my own bed wherever I stopped for the night! In 2007 I traded in my little tag along trailer for my current 2007 Grand Junction TRG34 fifth wheel. When I bought it I felt it had more bang for the buck than the other brands I looked at. Over the years I've equipped my unit with the the Moryde Independent Suspension system, disk brakes, Rieco Titan leveling jacks and a 5500 watt Onan Generator.
I tow my 5'er with a 2005 Chevy 2500 HD with the Duramax diesel/Allison transmission, Banks setup (exhaust, air intake and tuner) and a set of Hellwig air bags and anti sway bars. This has been a killer setup so far!
Last year I was going to trade in my Grand Junction for a newer, smaller unit, made by another well known company. After receiving a ridiculous trade-in offer, for a rig with a LOT less quality, I've decided to keep and enjoy what I have! I could not replicate my current setup without going into serious debt for another 15 years!
I was looking for archived literature on the Grand Junction line of RV's when I came upon this site. I just want to say, "Hey" to everyone who has a Grand Junction RV!
I would love to compare notes with anyone who owns a Grand Junction, what they love about it, what they hate...
