Thanks, make sure you send pictures and be sure to put butyl tale between the plate and the Rv at each screw location and good luck but I believe that would be the way to go and allows for more...

maybe you should consider installing a flat plate...

maybe you should consider installing a flat plate (maybe 4 x 4) then mounting the brackets to that.
