Looks kinda the same as the one I have. that tape got mixed reviews but the stuff I have seems to have gotten all good reviews (if you can believe them). Will know for sure shortly. RV in shop now...

IF you had no other choice, I would trim away the the pieces that are no longer sticking then maybe replacing those areas with awning repair tape or maybe even Flex Tape.
