The idea about walking in a similar unit is a good one. Don't know about our ductwork but the floor vents are 2x10 and sheet metal inside for whatever that's worth.

We have a 2013 Denali 5th wheel. The floor between the kitchen counter and the wall with the TV on it flexes, I think dramatically, when we walk near there. Our dealer says that's because that's...
