donzinger, I saw somewhere on here that someone said all they had to do is hook-up the factory BLUE wire on the stereo remote that Dutchman forgot and the remote powers off... Going to look into...

That happens to me also... need to install a battery shut-off right at the battery! There are parasitic drains on most trailers... like mine has the carbon monoxide detector, and the stereo remote...
