I owned mine for over a year before I realized...

I owned mine for over a year before I realized that it pitched. Only found out when the Carefree Rep asked if my model pitched or not, then he had to explain to me....

Thanks, saw that thread, didn't see the strut rating. Just hate spending $200 on struts that are probably the same as the ones at NAPA....just different packaging.

Thanks. I know the struts are 43inches opened, closed is a quick pull with the tape measure. My numbers are gone on all my struts, no clue on the pound rating.

Looking to see if anyone has replaced the gas struts on their Carefree awnings. Mine are in need of replacing (awning moves slow, the struts are loud, and the rear needs help every once in a while)....
