Ouch...I have a tear in my roof, looks like they let the corner of the middle AC unit dig into the roof. I covered it with EternaBond...I figure I will end up with a tear in the roof before too...

That is correct. The plastic covers come off, then remove the screws. I replaced my front one, then added one on the rear door. Bought black ones, as I think they look a lot better.
