They only use a single valve and then apparently have one-way check valves somewhere else. I am sure it is a cost-cutting measure.

Sensors get TP and other debris caught on them, gives a false reading. Try using the Geo-Method (https://sites.google.com/site/cbruni/) for keep the tanks clean. I have done it for close to 20 years...

As long as you have the smaller 13.5k btu AC unit, turn off all other high draw items, AND use proper gauge cords you should be okay on a 15 amp circuit. Done it for years when that was all I had...

Take the mattress off the bed and remove the screws holding the plywood down? They don't always make it easy to find. BTW the screws will be a square drive Robertson screws...
