Thanks Jbee. I am not going to great lengths either. I would just like to have the bass that a powered sub is supposed to provide. I am going to pull the Sony unit and see if that tells me anything....

Did you ever find the sub Satman? I have taken off the panels on both sides and I can't find it or hear it either. We just bought our 2014 V3305 last week and I'm trying to fix a few minor issues...
