Thanks for the info everyone. I was tinkering in the trailer last week and did not have shore power hooked up and tried the run the AC. This answers why it didnt run.:rolleyes:

Does anyone know if the AC unit can run on 12 volt alone or does it need to have shore power? We have a 15,500 btu AC unit on our 2014 Kodiak 291 resl.:confused:
