I see now that yours is tucked under the door trim. I have a 2014 3950 and mine was not like that. Just pulled off easily when I replaced all of mine

If you are referring to the horizontal vinyl like...

If you are referring to the horizontal vinyl like trim, just grab it near and end and pull it off. There is a lip on top and bottom holding it onto a metal strip that Is screwed to the wall.
