I will have to relook this myself now for future mod - spring camping doesn't always allow us to keep the awning extended due to high winds here.

Interesting! When I had mine installed, the dealer and Dutchmen both warned against putting a topper on the kitchen slide as the awning mounting height would not allow for proper angle on the topper...

I have slide toppers as well - they were installed by the dealer prior to taking delivery. No issues as long as level each and every time you open or close the slides.
