I could also be wrong here but.. the less weight you have on the front trailer axle will translate to less weight on the pin. Using a single axle trailer as an example, you can adjust the tongue...

Smart people! The EcoBoost blows all the other 1/2 tons away. Drove a friend's and it was just a pleasure to drive and I honestly felt like it has as much power as my F250 diesel.
