Update... SUCCESS!!

Was able to find a cavity... had to remove the electrical outlet & cable/tv amp plates to find it.

Yep... have done that. The issue is that there's a shelf right below that speaker blocking access. There is a small 1" gap at the rear that I've been trying to run a fish tape thru to get down...
