I finally got back to the RV and looked at the tires. They are Westlake Super ST235/80/16. Etrailer says they are rated at 65 so I slowed down on this trip. Thanks for the advice.

OK, that clears it up then. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy. I guess I'll use space heaters with external thermostats for accuracy. The fireplace heater actually keeps up pretty well too.
