Dan, hopefully, your unit is a good one! Like I read once, it all depends on what moon phase they had when they put it together! They switched to a full cap in 2015 so maybe that's a better design....

Ours also say 300 lbs on both bunks. We all climbed together on the bottom bunk at the dealer (2 adults, 2 kids, 400lbs total) and it was fine! That's when we saw the sticker! :)
