I wouldn't use any thing that will make it harder to drop in the future or seal it up tight enough that water could acummulate.

You want to be able to get into the bellypan where stuff goes wrong.

That setup makes me think of a Hensley, along the same idea just a 3 point mount instead of one.

Certainly beats having half the box taken up with hitch, but now it's 2 things to maintain.

Be much less expensive to do the work yourself and use qaulity parts, rather than the overpriced OEM stuff.
