Is the limit switch the button you push to activate the pump? he switch i'm referring to is on the pump

hydraulic pump malfunction

I have a 1999 dutchmen classic.The pump that brings the slide in and out is sticking.If i'm bringing the slide out or in it doesn't shut off but keeps going.Can anybody tell me what the problem is?
