not a problem, all of the systems in an rv are about the same, no matter what brand.

Sorry, Frank not sure why I thought you had a Kodiak, but I appreciate your help! The video and link were very helpful and exactly what I was looking for.

Good morning. I don't have a kodiak, BUT, my experience with slides is that they have to go out far enough to press against the wall gaskets in order to keep out wind and critters and stuff. IF your slide uses cables it will stick out a bit.

The downside of cable slides is that the mechanism is installed inside the camper wall above the slide, which causes it to “stick into” the RV a few extra inches. That means the ceiling in the slide out will be a little bit lower and it could be more challenging for end users to lay out the RV and choose furniture.

    look here, play the video

Hi Frank! Sorry to bother you, but saw you have a 2019 Kodiak 248BHSL. When your slide is open does it touch the back wall of your trailer or is there a small gap on the inside? Mine appears to be open all the way, but there is a small gap that I can peek around on the left-hand side while on the inside and look behind the slide. Thank you for any help you can provide!
