Slide out out of wack

Good morning! I currently have a Coleman Lantern 334 BH. I love the camper, but recently my living room slide is off BADLY! I don't believe either side is functioning correctly. The back will pull all the way in, but won't go all the way out. The front will go all the way out and makes several "knocking" sounds, but won't come all the way in. It's almost like the room its self has shifted because the front wall will hit the ledge of the entertainment center, but the slide is not flush. Any help would be appreciated!

Determining which slide mechanism you have is critical to being able to help you. Do you have cables? Gears?

If you ever extended slide when you were not level, you may have slipped a gear tooth on one side or the other if you have a single motor. It's hard to tell without knowing brand or for of slide you have. They do get out of wack.

These are the instructions from Lippert.

Synchronizing The Slide-Out Motors:

1. Fully extend the slide room using the slide-out switch. Keep the switch engaged until the motors shut down on their own.
2. Retract the room 1-2 inches.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until both motors shut down at the same time. In many cases, only two or three repetitions are necessary to synchronize the system.
4. Fully extend and retract the room. Always let the motors shut down on their own before releasing the switch.
