No More Dutchmen

This Tuesday I'm hauling my 2019 Dutchmen Endurance to the dealer and trading it for a Heartland Bighorn. If I never see another Dutchmen product it will be too soon. Absolute worse build quality I have ever come cross. Every time I went out to get ready for a trip something else was broken or quit working .
Good Luck with yours, but as for me, I'M DONE

Sorry to hear you had so many issues with your rig...

As for me, I am SAD to say that my time with my Dutchmen Denali is coming to an end. Because of the storm we had here in Tampa on Nov 11th, my RV has been deemed a total loss by the insurance company. We purchased a 2021 Grand Design Solitude S-Class yesterday at the Tampa RV show. Now I just need to get a truck to pull it.

I will be here just the same since this is one of the best forums for knowledgeable folks there is-in my humble opinion...

Thumbs down Last Dutchmen Trailer

I fully agree. I have spent more hours correcting/repairing the poor quality and workmanship in our 2020 Dutchmen Kodiak than camping. It's now in for warranty work because the drawers would not stay closed and became damaged due to the glides and latches not being installed correctly, handles falling off cabinet doors, bath fan falling apart, radio not working, etc.

Also, dealing with Dutchmen because the add on package the TT came with says it supposed to have a AM/FM/CD/DVD unit; my only has an AM/FM radio. Cannot wait to be able to afford to get rid of this piece of junk!

No More Dutchmen

The big drawer across from my stainless steel fridge slid open in transit and despite the fact it is only inches away when the slide is in it still managed to dent the fridge slightly and make some scratches. After spending a long time trying to figure out a way to replace the slides I just cut a pool noodle and keep it over the offending drawer handle all the time now. I could take it off but don’t want to forget to put it back on again.

Oh and the ladders for the bunk and loft bed also tear up and scratch the wood and vinyl material so pool noodles on all those too.

I hate to jinx it but the last few times out no issues. [emoji3]

My drawers were hitting the steps and maring the drawer front. I used window insulation to cover the step bolts. Hope it holds up.

Yamaha,

Glad to hear you finally came to your senses. I have yet to reach that point, though I think about it a lot. I am truly persistent.

My Kodiak is 3 years old now. Nothing fell off or broke on my last two trips, so my luck may be changing.

I wish you good luck and happy trails ahead!

3 years with my Voltage 3990. It was good to me. Maybe I'm lucky.
