Awning

Both awnings worked fine when i brought them in sunday
. Went th o put them out today and nothing. Checked fuse appears ok though when i push awing but the light beside fuse turns red. Bad fuse pinched wire? Confused

They are fused close to full amp limit. Mine had a 5 amp. Every time I pulled it in and held the button too long, it would blow. Replaced with a 10amp. Not always a great idea. In the Navy we referred to this as a"smoke test". But it cured my problem. I have replaced 50% of the wiring in our 5th wheel in the last five years. As an electrician, if my workmanship and materials equalled the junk in our RV, I would have been sued out of business.

retighten screws

The screws at the end caps get loose overtime. And need to be tightened. When we bought our 2016 Denali last year we had it inspected and the mechanic did this as the awning was doing what you described.
