Owners Manual 2012 Denali 5th wheel 280LBS

Thanks for your response, wahoonc. We are probably the 3rd owners, and the previous owners had zero literature. So, no, nothing. I suppose we will have to do a walk-through when we pick it up next week, and document all the brands and model numbers and print out what we can from the Dutchmen website. Do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks again.

When you purchase a dutchmen RV, the manuals for the RV itself is just very generic. What they include is the owner's manuals for each of the appliances , electronics, etc. They also include the serial numbers and model numbers for the equipment in the rv (at least mine did). The warranties, instruction manuals, etc are for each of the devices. So, saying that, get the information about the equipment then download THOSE manuals from the web. Also, if you are purchasing from a dealer, there are numerous walk through sheets that have been posted here, I HIGHLY recommend you find one and use it.

That is basically how it works. The best place to find manuals, quite often is the items specific manufacturers website. I find the Dutchmen site a bit difficult to locate things on. I will give them credit for at least attempting to put them all in one place!

Using a PDI list is a good idea too. Are you buying from a dealer or private party? Another thing that helps is to video the walk through if at all possible, there is a lot of things to learn in a very short time.

That has been frustrating for us.....there is no specific manual for our Kodiak Cub 185mb AND the various components. And the various components’ manuals are no help.

They don't exist. RV's aren't like cars with model-specific owner's manuals, or Chilton's repair manuals. At best, the only thing you can hope for is a generic user manual on how RV's work.

On the other hand, you can sometimes find information about various components by finding the manufacturer & specific model number, and then going to their website to look it up (refrigerators, ovens, water heater, etc.)

If you have specific questions, feel free to ask in the various forums that deal with that part of the rig, and someone will try to help if they can.

Other than that... taking it to an RV repair shop is about your only option.

Fortunately, pump issues are relatively easy to resolve. Sometimes you need to be park contortionist in order to work on it, as a matter of fact, you need to be a contortionist to work on most things rv related. Good luck, don't be afraid to ask questions.

Update, Correct ! Instead of trying to squeeze my way into the mess we decided to pull the bed room out and whalla we found a leak that needed serious attention that included removing some of the wall area because of rotted paneling. Initially the diaphragm was why the pump would not work and a few hours of labor we are back in it!
