Weight Distribution Hitch for Coleman CTS192RD

I'll hopefully be pulling a Coleman CTS192RD 4000 pound 23' travel trailer soon and want to get a weight distribution hitch. My tow vehicle is a 2015 Ford F150 3.5 Ecoboost. As I'll be boondocking I've excluded some products due to ground clearance. I'm considering the Blue Ox SwayPro and the Husky Center Line. If anyone has had negative or positive encounters with these products I'd love to hear about it.

Both of those are decent hitches. I would give a slight edge to the Blue Ox.

I have used a wide variety of brands over the years. The key is to set it up properly. FWIW I have NEVER had a dealer set them up properly. I had to take them home, take them apart and reset everything according to the directions.

If I were you I would not get a WDH. With the info you gave me the rig is not in need of one. I have a 2016 Chevy 1500 and a 2010 kodiak 24RBS weighs about 6500 lbs. I tow without a WDH and have had no problems. IMHO alot of dealers sell them when they do not need them. Take the $500.00 and go on a long camping trip.

Thanks MasterBlaster. I'll try pulling the CTS192RD just with the F150. Not dealing with the weight distribution system would be great assuming the F150 headlights are not raised from the hitch weight and the trailer doesn't sway.

I am a believer in WDHs, but without one, I towed my Coleman with some spring-assist shocks from Firestone.
