Just received an email from David at LCI confirming the Tri-Glide is no longer made. Replied with some concerns and questions pending a response...

Ok, got me curious now... Where exactly are the other 3? Inside the hitch?

You can see them looking from under the rear in the middle of each rod. You can see the rear-most zerk in this photo.

I think that the Tri-Glide can't take the strain of that heavy trailer banging back and forth.
I absolutely hate the Tri-Glide! I had a 5th Airborne on my other trailer and it was much better. When we go over bad bridge joints we have the problem of the rocking mechanism slamming at the ends of the swing. I keep looking back think the trailer is going to detach from the force. We keep the tri-glide greased too!

Which I have to have my wife attach because I cannot get my hands all the way in. Poorly designed pin box!

You don't have a flexible extension hose on your grease gun. I thought everyone did.

I haven't had any problems with mine. So far. I do need to grease it as it has been a few years since I did. Maybe I am asking for problems. That is not unusual.

Look at the first bagged fifth wheel hitch I bought. I am embarrassed to show it but here it is.

Knock on wood... like Arlan, I've no issues with mine at all. Took me a couple of trips to find the 'sweet spot' for air pressure in the bag... (for me, about 78psi seems to be perfect)... but after that, I get a very smooth ride.

I left North Carolina on August 2nd, and arrived here in Arizona about a week later... the truck only chucked twice the entire trip, and that was just on very bumpy bridge transitions.

I'm sorry but you misunderstood me. I was calling MYSELF stupid and I was wrong for making the purchase.

After looking at my post I see how it was easy misunderstood. I did a poor job in my reply to you.

Fanboy - this looks good. Is it possible to see the first portion of the message? It appears to be cut off...
