53' might be a direct line of sight. But what is it when you have plywood, fiberglass, maybe a sheet metal sub-floor. Anything else wireless in the RV? I discovered a wireless backup camera interfered with the first TPMS I had.



To test the supplier ask about distance for Class-A vs Class-C vs truck & trailer. If they don't know what Class-A or Class-C is then they obviously don't know about RV application

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but oftentimes when I drove through a large urban area the receiver would lose communications with one or more of the senders. I suspected some kind of interference from other sources. That's one of the reasons I bought the RF repeater to strengthen the received signal from the senders.

I have a Pressure Pro with the remote antenna mounted behind the rear bumper - have never had a issue with signal loss...

I'm looking at this pressurepro FX model. Trying to find some information on how it would connect to a smart phone or specifically, an ipad. the two wheel product is 175 while the four wheel product is 375ish...

Can't recall the exact model, but looks like this and can monitor up to 34 tires.

I am going to install the EezTire Repeater/Signal Booster in the front storage Compartment of my trailer. I have pulled the switch which controls the light inside the storage area. There is also another switch used to control and outside light next to the inside compartment switch. There 2 are orange and white striped wires going to the top and bottom connections of the switch. There is also a cluster of 3 wires of white wires which do not appear to have any connection to the switch. I have attached the picture of the wires discussed above. The Repeater/Signal Booster unit has a red and a black wire to be connected to the positive and negative wires.
Can someone tell me which wires I should connect the red and black Repeater/Signal Booster wires to?

In my world, the white wires are grounds (neutrals?). One of the wires that go to the switch will be hot always, others will be hot when the switch is on. You can tell that with a meter... You need to make sure they are 12 volt.

The bundle of white wires are most likely negative ground wires and you will probably want to splice your repeater's black wire to that bundle. The repeater's red wire will connect to one of those orange/white wires. You did not indicate whether you wanted to turn the repeater on and off with the switch. At this point you will need a multimeter to determine which of those orange/white wires is always hot and which is the switched wire. If you are not sure how to use the meter to find which is which you may want to seek help. The meter will also verify if the white wires are indeed the negative ground.

You may want to use a T-tap splice https://www.lowes.com/pd/Utilitech-2...tors/999956682 to actually splice the repeater wires to the existing wiring.

Thank you for your help. Apparently my meter is for only house current. I am going buy a multi-meter which can be used on 12V

Have had EEZ RV Products TPMS system, love it, no problems & personally think you are tempting fate not installing one. I personally know of three friends who have had blow outs on their rigs to the tune of $15K IN REPAIRS, so it's a cheap investment and gives you peace of mind as it would also let you know if you had a hot bearing (due to excessive temp rise in tire). BUY IT!

Did you put these on before or after you had the tires balanced? if after, did it affect the balance?

Purchased after I had tires on for some time and did not rebalance. Not sure but would seem to balance with them on, probably a question for your tire shop!

I guess if you didn't see any change in the tires after you added the TPMS system, must not be anything to worry about!

When I bought these new tires for the RV to replace the china bombs, I had them balanced. to answer your question, I do!
