My fuel milage.
Okay, someone wanted to start a thread on fuel mileage so let's get it going. I have a 2010 Ford F 450 that gets me 12 miles per gallon unloaded and six to seven miles per gallon towing my Voltage 3905. That's my story, let's hear yours.

We have a 2009 Ford F150 Super Crew 4X4 with the 5.3 litre V-8. We get 12.5 L/100Km (18.8 mpg US) average without towing. Towing our rig we get 20.5 L/100 Km (11.5 mpg US).

Macman... My numbers are close to yours:
2014 Ford F-450 dually (with a 4:30 rear end), pulling a 2014 Voltage 3200... GCVW shown in the photo below.
12 - 14 mpg unloaded, depending on speed...
7.5 - 9.0 mpg towing, again depending on speed. At 65 mph on level terrain, I'm usually right at 8.3 mpg.

2008 F450 DRW 4x4 6.4 4.88's, usually carrying 100-150 Gallons of fuel:
Running empty I get 10.5 to 12 MPG. City vs highway doesn't change much since I'm over 2000 RPM's at 55MPH with the 4.88 gears.
Towing a 2014 Voltage 3905 I get 6.5 to 8 MPG, depending on terrain.

09 F250 6.4L deleted and Spartan tuned. Unloaded I get about 13 around town and 15-16 on the road. Fully loaded this with the toy in the box and fuel this weekend weighing about 16k I got about 7.5 heading into the wind on the way there and close to 10 on the way back. I was running anywhere from 55-70. With the 3.55 gear set the truck really likes to run 65-70 and will maintain speed on most of the hills in central TX without kicking down a gear using cruise control.

2011 F-250 6.7L dsl pulling a Denali 330rls averages 10mpg. I usually do the speed limit (65-70mph). If we are running into a headwind with the a/c going I've been as low as 7.8 mpg. With a tailwind I'm up around 11mpg. No wind with the a/c and 70mph I see a solid 9.5.

I have a 2009 F250 pulling a 3200 voltage. I get between 11.5 and 12 in flat country loaded with a goldwing MC or golf cart. About 11 if I am loaded with 2 Goldwing MC's. I get about 16 around town unloaded and 20+ on the highway. I removed all the exhaust and run a straight 4 inch pipe which improved my mileage greatly.

Today we completed travel from north of Atlanta, Georgia to Gulfport, Mississippi. According to the Cat Scale we are a little over CGVW 31,000. That's just too much but I don't know what to get rid of. My garage is full of audio and video equipment. On one tank we got slightly over 9 mpg. I was pleasantly surprised to get just over 10 mpg on the last tank. I averaged just under 60 miles per hour for the trip.

power chips
Has anyone put a power chip in there truck to increase power or improve fuel mileage? Has this made a difference when towing your camper?

I did in my Dodge Ram with the 5.9 Cummins. Got a good amount of power. I can't say it gained and fuel mileage.
My new Ford F-350 I am just leaving stock. Has all the power I need.

macman,
We drive a 2001 Silverado 2500HD with the 6.0 engine 2 wheel drive. Our travel trailer is a Denali 289RK. I get around 12 MPG without the trailer 7 to 10 towing. I always use a mental 8 MPG or start looking for fuel after 200 miles. I have a 26 gallon tank that doesn't get far enough on a windy day in Nebraska where the gas is not at every exit.

My truck has the 3.73 rear end, and pulling the 3950 it does not like 62 mph, the engine does not sound like it is in it's sweet spot...Does sound much better and same mpg at 68 mph according to OBC showing average from 8.5 mpg to 10.5 mpg depending on wind etc. Also before adding bags it would shudder under hard acceleration from a standstill.

I have a 2003 Chevy 2500hd Duramax/Allison. I get 20-22mpg unloaded (running 70mph). When hooked to the 2011 Denali in my sig I average 12-14mpg (hand calculated). This has been confirmed on 2-2400mile round trips. 1 was to Florida and the other to Colorado.
PS: This truck is not anywhere close to stock though. In stock form she could only get 17-18mpg on the highway unloaded running 65mph..

I have a 2004 LLY Chevy Kodiak Duramax/Allison, 2wheel drive. 11 ft. aluminum utility box with a lift gate. I get 11-13 mpg not towing and 8-10 towing at 60mph with 7000# trailer. 2000 rpm at 60 mph. Mileage suffers greatly over 2100 rpm.
