Seriously? You've been towing your rig without trailer brakes? I realize your rig is smaller but still, if it came equiped with brakes you are expected to use them!

My advice for you is not to buy an eBay one but buy the best you can and have it professionally installed.

Prodigy p2 or p3 are good bets but they are not 50.00,you pay for what you get..

I have a Prodigy P2 that I bought about 6 years ago and I can't say anything bad about it. If your truck is not too old you may have had a wire harness and instruction sheet that tells you where to hook it up. My 2009 Ford Explorer Sport Trac came with that harness in the glove box.

If I remember right I paid around 175.00$ for my brake control.

Get a good one, it's worth it.

I saw it advertised for 124.00 on one of the online stores, probably if you hunt around you can find it cheaper.Depending on the year of your Ford you should have an adapter cable.
