Anderson WD Hitch

Hello all,

Does anyone have any experience with the Anderson WD Hitch?

I have there levels & like them very much. Looks like a nice set-up buy I don't believe any TT can be towed 100% "No Sway" proof.

I'm definitely going to get their levels. That's when I noticed the WD hitch.

I don't but one of my camping buddies does. And based one his experiences, I would not get one. He has told me several times that He isn't pleased with it. He is always having mess with it to keep it adjusted. When I bought my trailer, I was also looking at these, and I ended up choosing a equalizer.

I do have the levelers and they are awsome!

I had one as recently as last season on our 2012 Outback 250RS. The TT was around 6,000 lbs and I was towing it with a 1-Ton f350 diesel so the weight distribution wasn't a factor, but I needed something for swaying. The anderson hitch did a great job (I thought) for the anti-sway. I loved the concept of that hitch rather than the bulky bars and the fact that you CAN back-up with it and there is absolutely NO popping or creeking like ALL the other WD hitches out there. Sold that hitch to a buddy who loves it as well, now with the fifth wheel, I'm planning to purchase the Ultimate fifth wheel connection for the new rig... This way I can keep my large Weatherguard toolbox in the truck at all times.

Let us know how the Ultimate fifth wheel connection works. Most reviews I have seen have been good. Conflicting on if the bolts stay tight and if you can still get 90 degrees on a turn with a short bed.

I bought the steel one yesterday and will be here Wednesday. I have the rail set-up in my truck not the gooseneck ball so I have no bolts... But I do have a 20,000# curt slider for sale though!
