2007 Ford F150 XLT

I just picked up a gently used 2007 Ford F150 that has the keyless buttons on the drivers side door. Of course the used car dealer said they didn't have code nor the factory set code. Does anyone have any idea how to program a new code in other than going to a Ford dealership and having them charge me $80 to reset it?

A quick google found this:
Keypad Code Location - Ford F150 Forum
Actuaaly the whole post is pretty informative on how to add additional codes.

Cheers

I bought a 2007 Lariat and had the same problem (I did not buy it from a Ford dealer). The dealer had to take the truck to a Ford dealer so that they could extract the factory code from the vehicle's computer....cost: $150 CAD but since the dealer should have obtained the code from the previous owner, they covered the bill. All I had to do then is punch in the factory code and re-enter my own. Good luck.

I found it quickly with the help of Youtube. Within 5 min I had the factory code and added my own. Easy and it saved me $80.
