Thomas Payne recliner and couch covers
The very awesome fake leather is starting to peel on my Thomas Payne (pain?) furniture. Aside from replacing the recliners and couch or taking the rv to an upholstery shop, does anyone know of anything I can use to cover the furniture that won’t make it look like my grandmother’s house back in the 60’s?

Same issue with my recliner sofa. Mine is not as bad as yours yet, but heading there. Peeling started about 6-9 months ago on one of the sections and I expect it will get worse quickly.
I have no idea how to fix and doubt any "leather repair" stuff will work on this fake leather.
I too would love to hear ideas on what to do. Replacing is going to be expensive and difficult--not to mention my sofa fits perfectly where it is and (used to) looks good. Reupholstering is not really a good option and not sure how it could be covered.

Couch Cover
Had similar problems plus the piping on the cushions was coming off.
Bought furniture covers at Etsy - https://www.etsy.com/search?q=furnit...urniture%20cov
Bad camera made the cover shown below look red, but it is really brown. You may not like the one I have, but Etsy has tons of them. $25 or $30 is not a bad price if you don't want to spend lots of dough. The fabric is stretchable and I eventually readjusted it so the bottom of the couch doesn't show below the cover.
Just one idea.

Welcome to the world of RV furniture, the great pleather experience. The best way is to either have your furniture reupholstered with quality material or find home furniture that will fit.

That looks pretty good. Because the couch opens to a bed, I was looking for something that would just cover the cushions. As far as the recliners are concerned, they don’t even list them any longer. They have all kinds of little luxuries like warming and massages and stuff. PLUS, I’m sure they were out in before the slide was installed.

I purchased a washing machine/dryer yesterday. It’s one of the small ones but it was a real PITA getting it in place. I have no idea how I would get the furniture out of the RV and get the new stuff in there. I hate it! I never considered “PLEATHER” would act like this in an RV that has not been used this much and is only three years old.
I called Lippert to see if they had a warranty, it does, for a year. They said they would give me a discount on new stuff but it wasn’t worth the trouble or effort.

I had mine redone by Furniture Medic, which I guess is a chain. Took apart my old furniture and installed a few "loaner" pieces as we live in our RV 6 month a year. Three weeks later brought back my furniture, restuffed and reupholstered with a much upgraded material. 4 grand was pricey but it looks great and is holding up fine.

I’ve considered that and got pricing…. Yep! Way very pricey…
This may be the only way I can do this but have absolutely no idea how they would get this stuff out except by taking it apart. Of course the couch is a pull out. I would love for them to re-stuff with a memory foam. As far as the couch goes, we can take all the cushions off and get them all done and that would leave little with the original “pleather”.

Mine is a 4-person recliner with the outside positions having massage and heat. Inside two flip down for trays and have cup holders and power outlets which are nice. All sections recline but that back stays put so can be right up against the wall. I can't cover the entire sofa because I would lose all those features and also agree that getting that thing out probably doesn't fit through the doors. I could cut it up if I was replacing but then how do I replace with something else that will fit on the way in?
Super annoying that the pleather is so cheap. While mine is probably 7 years old it probably only gets 30-45 days of use a year so in that respect has less use than a 1 year old sofa would have in my home.
I almost feel like I would have to pay someone to come out to my RV with their equipment and maybe work in my garage section to cut and sew but then carry stuff to the couch and install in place. The bummer is my garage would be so easy to get something into with the loading ramp but I have two 30" wide doors from the garage to the living area that I am sure will be a problem.
Maybe some blow up furniture?

When I went to the Rv show here in Tampa in January, there was a furniture shop there that dealt with reupholstering rv furniture-their quote was ridiculous! I can understand them wanting me to bring the rv down there to work on it but they wanted me to bring, the rv down so they could look at it! Their name was Wade RV…
I suppose I’ll need to bring it down there to get fixed…
