I've been reading this thread with interest, and was wondering what source most were using for water.

Unfortunately, it seems that most places I've set up have lousy city/county water for drinking... so I'm not sure I'd wanna just tap into the rig's water line.

I usually end up buying cases & cases of bottled water for the fridge & for cooking. I've tried using one of those smaller Brita filter pitchers, but it doesn't seem to do much for taste. For this next trip, I'm bringing my 5-gal jug water cooler along, and hope that finding places to refill the jug will do the trick.

We use bottled water (gallon/5gl jugs) to fill the ice machine.

We also have an in-line water filter which does help clean the water coming into the trailer. It also doubles as a pressure reducer since we have run into some campgrounds that have very high pressure (100psi and up). When I notice water pressure up that high, I also install my water-pressure reducer on the hose. That's the last thing you want to deal with... busted water lines due to high pressure. I'm not sure what the rating is on the water lines but better to be safe than sorry.

I have a whole home water filter inline. New cartridge at beginning of each season so no worries. Same filter I have in my house just a smaller version

Well Aaron I can tell you which cost the least & it's not the power vent or jack.

Funny this tread popped up. I literally just bought one of the igloo ones from SAMs 30 mins ago. Leaving out first thing in morning from Oklahoma, headed to Wyoming and South Dakota for 3 weeks.
