Dinette Cushions

We have a 2014 276RBS Dutchman trailer and need to replace the cushions in the dinette. I have looked on sites like https://www.rvandvansurplus.com/Cushions-And-Covers_c_13.html but they always seem to assume a dinette is two opposite benches, whereas we have one long U shaped bench with the table in the middle.

Does anyone know where we could get replacement cushions for that?

Thanks!

They were actually thrown out by accident! So we no longer have them at all.

If you cannot find online, try taking a picture and look into upholstery shop in the area.

The cheapest and best way is to go to a local upholstery shop. You can and should upgrade to a good quality/density foam as well. If you buy replacement RV cushions you'll get the cheap foam. We replaced our foam almost right away.

I replaced my cushions by tearing the dinette out and putting a couch in, I highly recommend it.

Since you are starting over, make templates of your benches and backs, then give the template dimensions to an upholstery shop. (NOTE: estimate bigger rather than smaller.) For the bench seats, tell the shop you want a foam density of Matl: 2535, which will likely be a Starting slab size: 4t x 60 x 82 for a U-shaped dinette. This foam is about the best you can buy. It is dense enough that your bums don't bounce off the bench base, and the edges will remain firm. After the cushion foam is cut from the slab, bring them home and see how they fit. For the bench backs, you can use the same foam material, or, something not quite as dense and perhaps less expensive. If there are adjustments to be made you can trim the excess. Then take them back to the upholstery shop and have the covers made. So there you go.

No pics, and we’ve parted ways with this trailer, a 2012 Denali. We just put this new, denser foam into the existing faux leather U-shaped bench cushions of the dinette that occupied half of the slide out. We never regretted this rather modestly expensive upgrade. The hardest part was trying to squish the denser foam pieces into, and then zip up the fabric covers.

Wrap the foam pieces in plastic sheet.
They slide in more easily.
Pull the sheet out.
Zip them up.

I was actually looking at replacing the theater recliner seats / couch option with the udinette option with a sleeper sofa. any knowledge on whether that would fit a 3200 voltage slide or how and why you replaced your udinette would be helpful. THanks. (The pleather is peeling off and gets everywhere and very expensive to recover anyway.
