Care and Cleaning of Countertops

We have a 2021 Dutchmen Kodiak Ultimate. The kitchen area has excellent counter space. The material came with a paint thin glossy covering that is wearing off. The actual material of the counter is softer and subject to staining. Ours is a white with grey design made to look like marble. Our question is, what is the best way to clean the counter after the glossy covering wears off and what is the best product to seal the counter to protect it.

I don’t have a countertop like you describe BUT, I clean counters with barkeeper’s friend.

It is just a thin plastic coating, kind of like vinyl wall paper. When it wears off, paint it whatever color you want with a gloss or semigloss enamel. Wash it with dish soap. The material underneath is a cheap fiberboard.

It's a thincoat of vinyl, over fiberboard. When you clean it use dish soap. Before you clean the board under under the vinyl, paint it with a gloss or semigloss enamel.
