Replacemnent stabilizers

My aspen trial 1900 rb came with stabilizers and they have no markings. One striped out yesterday and now looking for replacements. Bad this is the mounting brackets are welded on.

Has anyone replaced any or of your stabilizers and used the old mounting bracket.

I did find these and mounting brackets are the same size just not sure about two bolt holes.

My stabilizer was hit and bent bad. My brackets were welded on also. I took off the new brackets. Fortunately I was able straighten the old welded bracket and bolt on the new stabilizer.

Wow, do you have to buy 4?

I had weld on brackets that fit perfectly with the bolt ons I bought after I bent one. My guess is there is little variation in the mounting points so hopefully your existing brackets will bolt right up to the new stabilizers.

I bent one on my Kodiak Cub. They were not marked, but I think they were J2500 generic. They are 2500 pound rated.

I bought two 5000 pound rated and replaced both rear stabilizers. They come in different heights.

The bolt holes in the replacements I bought did not match perfectly. In fact the holes in the original stabilizer was butchered as well. I unbolted two more jacks. They were butchered as well and they were not all butchered the same.

I drilled one new hole for each new stabilizer jacks and enlarged one and used better bolts when remounting a front one. I also primed the bare steel in the new holes.

I prefer to use e-trailer as a source for parts. They have skilled people to help you get the correct stuff. I use email with them.

I wish you good luck and happy trails ahead!
